Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp

Hot off the press, the 2026 Dust Bowl 100 Technical Guide is now available (click the PDF above to view). The goal for this Technical Guide is to provide you with all the details you need for a successful trip and memorable Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp.

Even if you're a past Dust Bowl 100 participant, please make sure to review this updated Tech Guide in its entirety, as updates have been made from previous versions.  Here are a few of the key changes/additions to this year's Tech Guide:

• Details about the new Dust Bowl 100 Livestream powered by GoPutnam.com are on page 3.
• Pages 8-11 give the full agenda/timeline for the weekend (note the change in start times from previous years due to now having separate Elite starts).
• Parking guidelines are listed on page 12; with the addition of prepaid VIP parking this year, parking availability and traffic flow will differ from years past.
• We have made some slight modifications to our Rules on page 14.
  • ELITE field participants - please make sure to read the Elite rider specific notes on page 15.
  • For those with friends or family traveling with you, please review the outside support rules and the spectator guide on page 28.
• Easy-to-read course details and alerts are listed on page 16.
• There are lots of new planning and navigation tools available to riders this year - premium RidewithGPS navigation (page 20), a Wahoo Elemnt Demo Program (page 20), and access to the Epic Ride Weather app (page 21).
• Discounts, giveaways, and promos from Zipp, SILCA, Castelli, Tailwind, Rudy Project, and Aqua Systems are included throughout the Tech Guide, so make sure you don't skip any pages!
• Podium times have changed, and we now have an Elite prize purse plus cash giveaways for the age group race (see page 31 for details).
• Learn about the Dust Bowl's inclusion in the USA Cycling Junior Gravel National Series and the Indiana Race Series on page 32
• The Vendor Expo will take place on Friday from noon to 8:00 pm and we have a lot of great vendors lined up; see a list of some of those on page 34.
• We've provided a gear checklist on page 36 to help ensure you arrive with everything you need on race day.
• Check out Zipp's Four Tips to Make You Faster at the DB100 on page 37.
• You still have time to sign up for an on-site camping spot (page 41), reserve a meal at the Friday night lasagna dinner (page 9), and/or get your kids registered for the free Kids Race on Friday night (page 9).
